Here we are at Glacier Bay.  What a beautiful site to see.

Alaskan Cruise 2013

Beginning to work on our photos from our Alaskan Cruise.  First excursion was in Juneau to the Sled Dog Discovery and Musher Camp.  It was a riot.

This is my first post to Fresh Made Sketches.   I have always watched from the sidelines, and now decided to participate.   Here is the sketch we used to create our card.

And here is my take on the sketch.

Stamps: SU Swallowtail, You are loved.

Paper: SU Pool party, Choc. Chip, Vanilla and DP Attic Boutique from SU.   I just love the Swallowtail Stamp and have made so many cards from that stamp.  It's one of my all time favorites. TFL

PAPER N PIXELS--FLIP IT CARD PROJECT

For our next Paper N Pixels meeting we will be featuring the Flip it Card from Sizzix.  My card is using Majestic Flip-it (Sizzix 658702).   You can get a creative as you want because the die does most of the work for you.   This is only one sample.   As time permits more samples will be posted.

AT JOANS GARDENS_WEEK #9

This weeks challenge was to create a card with a garden scene.  There is nothing so delicate as a song bird in your garden to let you know Spring has sprung.  The stamp if from Flourishes, Spring has Sprung.  The nestabilities die was Classic Scalloped Oval all available from Joans Garden.  The paper was miscellaneous paper I had in my stash.

AT JOANS GARDEN CHALLENGE 7

For this weeks challenge we had to use polka dots, vellum and an oval.  For the vellum I used SU embossing   folder (Manhattan Flower Folder); SU CS and for the polka dots I used SU ribbon; and for the oval I used SU sentiment with SU oval punch.  Very fun challenge.

AT JOANS GARDEN CHALLENGE#7

The challenge this week was to create a card using polka dots, an oval and vellum.    For the vellum I used SU Mixed bunch stamp and Blossom punch, for oval it was from SU, and the polka dots was my cardstock that I had available.

This challenge we were to create an outdoor scene for a Birthday.   I used for sentiment, SU Perfectly Penned; and SU Lovely As A tree Stamp.  The technique for background was sponged and then used my gold pen to outline center cardstock.

AT JOANS GARDEN CHALLENGE #5

This week was to create a card using green, white and blue.  Use an oval, create a flower that has a pattern and use a stamped sentiment.

My card  for sentiment I used SU Bloomin Marvelous and punched out using SU oval punch; Pewter Brad from Making Memories decorative brads; doily is from SU Lg paper doily sizzlit.  For the flower I used SU Big L Fun Flower Sizzix and embossed it for pattern using SU textured impressions vintage wallpaper EF, all papers from SU.

This weeks challenge was to create a card using green, white and blue.  Use an oval, create a flower that has a pattern, and use a stamped sentiment.  Sentiment was from Our Daily Breads Design; Sing to the Lord.  Oval was Spellbinders Labels 10 available at Joans Garden.  Flower was an EK success punch that I embossed using Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss EF for my pattern, and the flourish was Tropical Flourish B127 available at Joans Garden, and cardstock was from Basic Grey.

Nestabilities Hearts Die is used for this double easel card, available At Joan's Gardens Stampin Up  Ticket punch and SU mini-build-a brad.  The vintage girl is designed by Julie Mead in her kit Vintage Valentine Sweeties, available at E-Scape and Scrap  Rhinestone Swirl embellishments by Recollections (Michaels)
